Salzer’s objective and challenge was to build a content management system using the EPiServer CMS that provided coherent system information spanning across the entire organization.

The BBB collects and provides free business reliability reviews which has made the BBB’s website rank among the top 500 most-visited websites in the US.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) needed a corporate wide Content management solution, which will provide a platform for an efficient and effective creation of content and its management along with interaction with various stakeholders. The key objective was to provide an effective solution to publish, edit and control content at its base site (US or Canada) and all its local sites.
Solution Implementation
- The Salzer team's expertise and knowledge base contributed to continuous improvement in initiatives undertaken with BBB. The team applied its unique approach of strategic thinking to the evolutionary life cycle of product development.
- Salzer built a content management system using EPiServer CMS for the entire BBB organization. The team worked closely with BBB and provided an analysis model for the client's requirements. The recommended solution focused on two high-level components:
- A public site which uses a routing and page processing engine – all public traffic to BBB.org or Give.org project is processed by this engine.
- An administration site that is password-protected EPiServer admin pages and provides a streamlined UI to manage all aspects of the CMS system.
